Culina still going through pain
Jason Culina has spoken out in an interview about his year from hell, insisting he will be back to add to his 58 caps for his country foxsports reported.
Culina, 31 has been through double knee surgery in the last 12 months has been involved in a massive insurance and club fiasco as well.
He is out to draw a line under a painful episode of his life which has seen him shunned by his own club while his father, Branko was sacked by the Newcastle Jets as the season was beggining.
The Marquee midfielder is on a deal is worth $850,000-a-season and remains under contract for two more years. Culina said: "While this has been the biggest downer of my career, I am going to bounce back. That's me, that's the way I have always been,"
He also added "I won't let this hold me back. I wouldn't have put myself through what I have if I didn't know that I'd play again and nothing will hold me back. If that means playing for the Jets, so be it. I am a professional and I am still a Jets player. Once things are sorted out between the club, FFA and PFA who knows what will happen."
