Melbourne Victory may get Jim Magilton as coach
Melbourne Victory have this morning met former Ipswich and Queens Park Rangers manager at Melbourne airport sparking talk that he may be Mehmet Durakovic's replacement.
Speculation is rife that Magilton actually may have agreed the new position last weekend and that Durakovic may have been dead man walking for the Central Coast game no matter what the results may have been.
Jim Magilton, 42 has had good experience in the Championship of England and may be announced as new head coach in the next 48 hours. Magilton, a former Northern Ireland was last working at Shamrock Rovers and has had a interesting career from playing at Liverpool, to managing Ipswich and Queens Park Rangers where he reportedly lost his job for headbutting a player after a heated exchange.
Sources say the deal may not be 100% done, but its pretty close and only needs fine details sorted, more to follow on this story soon.
