Holger Osieck picks A-League players for Socceroo squad
Holger Osieck has picked a Socceroo squad that includes three A-League players and a debut spot for Aston Villa defender Chris Herd.
A-League players Harry Kewell, Brett Emerton and Mitch Nichols are in the Squad as well as returning goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer. Chris Herd who was subject of interest from Scotland looks likely to play and make his debut for the national team finally.
The 23-man squad for the away matches against Oman on November 11 and Thailand on November 15 have a good mix of experience and youth and it seems their is a healthy mix of competition for places.
