Kewell becomes ambassador for Ford Performance Vehicles
Socceroo Harry Kewell, has been a busy man since his return to Australia. The Kewell juggernaut keeps rolling as it will be announced this week that he is the new ambassador for FPV (Ford Performance Vehicles).
The new Melbourne Victory signing was treated to a lap of the Phillip Island circuit by Will Davison in the #6 Trading Post Racing Falocn FG. Kewell was impressed by the drivers foot skill and was excited by the experience.
Kewell is delighted to be an official partner of Ford Australia and the face of Ford Performance Vehicles, reffering to the Ford Performance vehicle he was quoted saying “I would absolutely love to drive one”.
FPV General Manager Rod Barrett was pleased to confirm the deal with Kewell and was quoted by V8 supercars.com as saying “Bringing FPV and Harry Kewell together, we have created a relationship between two of Australia’s high performing sports brands and this was a natural choice for both. Ford and FPV are incredibly excited to confirm our partnership with Harry as we continue to grow the FPV brand.”
