Chelsea want Walcott/Sturridge swap

Chelsea are reportedly looking to strengthen in the summer with a massive clearout planned and many new players to come in.

The latest news coming out of London is that Theo Walcott, who's Arsenal contract has about 15 months to run, is wanted at the bridge with Daniel Sturridge being offered as bait in the deal.

Sturridge has been in good form this year but has been frustrated with his position in the team and many at Chelsea have not appreciated his attitude of late. While Walcott might be in line for a massive pay day at Chelsea, one that the Gunners could not match.

more bad news for Chelsea is that captain John Terry will undergo exploratory knee surgery for his persistent knee problem. Chelsea fear their inspirational captain could be out for the next two months.
