Beckham wants Redknapp for England

LA Galaxy star David Beckham has given his backing for Harry Redknapp to become the next England manager.

Tottenham boss Redknapp is the bookies favourite to succeed Fabio Capello in the English managerial position after the Italian quit last week.

Redknapp has publicly stated he is interested but does not want to discuss it till the season’s end, and many feel he will only take the job part time as he does not to leave Tottenham after guiding them so high in the league.

Beckham though may want to have Redknapp in the position as the Spurs manager is a big supporter of the former Manchester United superstar, and this may be Beckham’s way in for one last chance at international glory.
