Nikica Jelavic did not force Everton move

Nikica Jelavic insists he did not force a move Everton from cash strapped Scottish giants Rangers after many reports in Scotland claim he forced the move.

Jelavic, 26 is a Croatian international striker now and admits playing in the Premier League will be a dream come true. It was reporeted that Liverpool were close to signing him but Everton offered guaranteed first team football that appealled more.

Everton are delighted with £6million deal, which came as a huge boost to a team struggling for goals this season, they also added former star Steven Pienaar on loan.

Jelavic told reporters: "My dream was to play in the English Premier League but I never forced my transfer. The last two days were difficult for me. I was struggling. But I am glad it is finally done and I am fully focused on Everton."
