Portsmouth next in administration
Portsmouth went into administration this week for the second time in two years, leaving the nPower Championship club facing a battle against relegation after also being docked 10 points.
A High Court hearing in London confirmed Portsmouth had gone into administration, a development which brought with it an automatic 10-point penalty from Football League.
Portsmouth are the second British club within a week to go into administration with Scottish Giants Rangers also facing grim times. It was even though the club could not afford scans for some injured players recently.
