Kean working on Blackburn strategy

Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has had another event filled week trying to work on a Rovers strategy and keeping the side together.

Kean has held talks with Christopher Samba (who has handed in a transfer request) and told the unsettled defender that he will not be sold in the January window.

On other matters he has signed New Zealander Tim Payne and has almost completed the loan signing of French striker Anthony Modeste is having a medical ahead of a six-month loan deal from Bordeaux.

Also it looks like an agreement is close for Eric Black to be appointed as the new assistant manager to Kean after Clement left for PSG two weeks ago. Lots is happening in the soap opera that is known as Blackburn Rovers.
