Vultures circle over chicken Rovers
Blackburn Rovers are in financial meltdown according to reports and some clubs are looking to take full advantage of the downward spiral at Rovers
Owners Venkys chicken of India have gone very quiet in the last month amidst speculation that the club are in a dire financial situation, now reports state that Rovers will have to offload a few players and get rid of some high earners to balance the books.
The rumours are in Overdrive with a few clubs testing Rovers resolve like QPR making a derisory £5million bid for Blackburn defender Chris Samba. Three clubs are looking at makings bids for Steve N’zonzi while Junior Hoilett might have to take a pay cut to stay at Rovers which will not happen so he is as good as gone.
Players like Salgado, Nelson, Grella and Roberts may be allowed to leave and find new clubs in January but it seems certain that at least two players will need to be sold to raise funds in January.
