QPR looking for more signings

QPR manager Mark Hughes is scrambling to get some new signings in the January transfer window.

Mark Hughes has confirmed he is trying to seal a deal for Nancy's Mali midfielder Samba Diakite, while AC Milan left back Taye Taiwo and Manchester City's Nedum Onuoha have been signed up in the last week. The London club have seen moves collapse for Brazilians Alex from Chelsea and Henrique.

Mark Hughes has made no secret of his admiration of Blackburn centre back Chris Samba, while Steven Pienaar and Wigan's Victor Moses and Hugo Rodallega are also on the shortlist.

QPR are now owned by Asia Air ownwer Tony Fernandes and look like being big spenders in the future to come.
