Barcelona dominate the shortlist for the 2011 FIFA Ballon d'Or
Barcelona and inparticular Spanish based players dominate the 23-man shortlist for the 2011 FIFA Ballon d'Or with eight squad members from Barca and five nominees from Real Madrid have.
The current Champions League winners have Lionel Messi who looks favourite to take it out this season. All up there are 23 players on the list for the prize.
