Blackburn Owners rule out sale
Blackburn Owners the chicken selling Venkys group insist they have no plans on selling the club despite talks of a takeover bid.
Reports from the UK indicate that Middle East oil giant Qatar Petroleum are lining up a potential takeover bid for the Ewood Park outfit, which Venkys aquired over a year ago.
There is a speculated £25m offer on the table as the Qatar group are interested in expanding after purchasing French giants PSG and Spanish team Malaga. So far Venkys have rebuffed the bid but they may supposedly sell if the offer goes up and they can make a tidy little profit, more to follow...
