Steven Gerrard set for lengthy absence
Steven Gerrard has delivered Liverpool a blow by reportedly leaving hospital with his right leg in a protective cast on Sunday.
The England international has been sidelined for most of the current season and now looks likely to miss another month.
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish confirmed Gerrard had a problem on Saturday, but refused to be drawn on what exactly his problem was or any idea for recovery time.
