Dalglish with issues coming into big game

Kenny Dalglish will go into the weekends game against Chelsea with star striker Suarez charged with racial abuse and Steven Gerrard out with a lingering injury.

Liverpool skipper Gerrard has endured a 2011/12 campaign filled with injury problems, with an ankle infection the latest problem keeping him on the sidelines. Boss Dalglish is confident Gerrard will be back sooner rather than later but no date will be given.

Also on a sour note, Luis Suarez with face action over the allegations that he racially taunted Manchester United star Patrice Evra. Liverpool yesterday issued a statement offering their full support to Suarez, who will plead not guilty to the FA charge.

Some good news for the reds though is that Jamie Carragher should be back into the fold for Sunday's trip to Chelsea.
