Dawson sidelined Indefinitely for Spurs
Michael Dawson was sent for surgery on this week in an effort to aid his recovery from an Achilles injury which will sideline him Indefinitely for Tottenham Hotspurs.
Dawson who is a England international, would now miss a large part of the season but Tottenham who were hoping that the need for an operation could be avoided have not put any date for his return.
A statement released on the club's official website read: "Michael Dawson has today undergone surgery to his right Achilles tendon to assist with his recovery. "Medical staff are pleased with his progress and he will be reviewed by the surgeon in early December, at which time a date for a return to full training will be determined." .
