Carlos Tevez not charged with refusing to play

Carlos Tevez will not be charged with refusing to play against Bayern Munich but will now be charged over refusing to warm up.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini said after last month's UEFA Champions League defeat in Germany that Carlos Tevez refused to come on as a substitute and replied what for, an accusation which was constantly denied by the player. Since that day Tevez has not made any appearance for Manchester City.

Tevez has always claimed he was ready to play and only told Mancini he didnt need to warm up as he had warmed up minutes before, it is understood that no further action will be taken over claims that he refused to come on as a substitute at this point but there is more to this story in the coming days.
